How a Scene Video works
Our Scene Videos are designed to be quick, clean and professional. Each video follows a standardized format, is shot without interfering with the exhibition opening flow and is completed quickly while maintaining tight quality control standards.
We accomplish this in 3 easy steps:
STEP 1: Determine The Parameters of Your Video
All Scene In Seattle Video begin with you basic video. This video is between 1 - 1.5 min in duration and can feature between 1 - 3 artists. You can choose to add additional time to feature more artists, add a custom intro or enhanced text. These choices are made in advance of the shoot and can not be changed with 24 hours of the event. A Scene Video ranges in cost from $250 - $1,500 depending on additional features and contract discounts.

STEP 2: Schedule Your Shoot During Your Areas Artwalk
Once you have decided how you would like your video, you will schedule your shoot with Scared of Genre. The shoot will take 15 min and will require a manager or assistant to coordinate the artist interview. The artist interview will consist of 3 questions: 1) Artist Name 2)Show Title 3) Medium. If coordinated ahead of time, additional questions may be added in conjunction with additional time.
STEP 3: Deliver Your Scene In Seattle Video
Four business days after shooting you will receive your Video and Scene In Seattle will begin distribution, it will be delivered to your organization 7 business days.
